Welfare Reform Makes Me Giddy... So I'm Extending It to Humans

Another small "victory" -- Red Robin has agreed to use eggs exclusively from facilities that do not use battery cages. Well hot damn! Burger King's welfare reform, highly touted by PeTA, only agreed to get 2% - 5% of their avian menstruations from cage-free suppliers. But PeTA is on the job. Let's not forget their huge contribution to the chicken holocaust with their advocacy of KFC and controlled atmosphere killing (CAK). Awesome! Refined methods of torture!

I'm starting to wish I was a chicken so I could experience all of these humane reforms... mutiliate me, starve me, confine me in an overcrowded filthy prison -- just make sure the walls are solid; no bars please. Welfare reform just makes me giddy!

The Welfarist Mantra: We need better laws to torture animals in factory farms, laboratories, circuses... wherever our little hearts desire... so we can trade in their blood with a clear conscience. Welfarists are practical; not like those damned extremists who want to liberate animals so they can live their lives in peace, free from the subjugation, domination and torture of other humans.

Of course, many uncommitted middle-of-the-road activists will argue that slavery is not going to end tomorrow so they may as well negotiate the terms of confinement. Bravo! Let's extend this logic to the human species.

Welfare Reforms for Human Atrocities:

1) A woman may be raped with impunity as long as the assailant gives his victim a tender kiss on the cheek when he's through. This will negate any terror the woman experienced and will make us all feel that the violent acts is less barbaric.

2) Pedophilia is a personal choice and we should not discriminate simply because an adult is sexually attracted to a child. However, we should all fight for legislation that would restrict invasive acts on children, unless they are at least four feet tall or 80 pounds. Certainly we want to protect infants from penetration. We can all feel good about that!

3) Home invasions are fun for sadists. They get to terrorize people in their own homes where they should feel safe (kind of like any nonhuman in a cage). Home invaders may confine, rape, beat and humiliate their victims. But let's make sure the house is not left in disarray upon their departure. If the victims have to suffer, at least their homes should be neat and clean.

4) Murder. It's not going away tomorrow so let's just deal with it. When a human being is being beaten or stabbed or bludgeoned to death, I think we need some solid welfare laws. How's this? A victim may be kicked, stabbed or subjected to blunt-force trauma for 25 repetitions. If s/he doesn't expire after 25 stabs, it would be inhumane to keep plugging away. Just drag the corpse off to the side and let them gently glide into oblivion.

5) Cannibalism.... now there's something I can sink my teeth into.

Yesterday, Obama sunk to a new low and there's no longer any reason to feign respect for this madman who sits at the helm of the american holocaust. He's a disgrace and a sneak and should be addressed as such. The antichrist is ushering in the new world order.

He appointed a former Monsanto lobbyist, Michael Taylor (clearly one of the horned & cloven-foot minions), as a Senior Advisor to the FDA.

Monsanto has succeeded in getting their ex-attorney, Michael Taylor, into the highest echelon of the Obama Administration. Barack Obama made this decision days after his election victory, but needed a major story such as Michael Jackson's shocking death to pull the veil over America's eyes. He waited nearly eight months to do the dirty deed, hoping that it would not spark controversy. Hoping that nobody would notice. Let today's Notmilk column strike the match.

Two attorneys from MONSANTO'S law firm (King & Spalding) played interesting roles in American history. One was Clarence Thomas, now on the Supreme Court (talk about swing votes!) The second was Michael Taylor who left the "firm" to work at FDA where he wrote the biotechnology laws that do not require a warning label on a carton of milk to identify the "new genetically engineered milk."

Taylor previously worked at the USDA from 1976-1981 as a staff lawyer. He left government to work at King & Spaulding, a law firm representing Monsanto.

He returned to government - this time to the FDA - for a stint as Deputy Commissioner for Policy from 1991-1994.

According to Marion Nestle in Food Politics: [At the FDA] he was part of the team that issued the agency's decidedly industry-friendly policy on food biotechnology and that approved the use of Monsanto's genetically engineered growth hormone in dairy cows. His questionable role in these decisions led to an investigation by the federal General Accounting Office, which eventually exonerated him of all conflict-of-interest charges.

He's not a stupid man. Manipulative. Duplicitous. EVIL. Not stupid.

Barack Obama, sits at the helm of the nonhuman holocaust... just as Hitler presided over the extermination of six million jewish humans. But Obama leads a country that confines, mutilates, rapes and murders animals in the tens of millions every single day. These nonhuman individuals do not go to their deaths gently. They are dragged, beaten, kicked or fork-lifted to their ultimate demise. Some are murdered by being dunked in vats of filthy boiling water. Some are hung upside down flailing as their throats are slit and the blood drains from their wounds. Some don't die quickly enough and so death only comes as their bodies are hacked apart piece by piece. THIS IS AMERICA!!!! This is what corpse-munchers refer to as their "personal choice". This is NOT an issue of dietary options!

Call it the politics of personal perfection. The Barack Obama brand is as much about being a personal example to the nation as it is about being a political figure. But the danger of that frothy mix of glamour and domesticity is that President Obama could become in the public mind something he never sought to be: the Martha Stewart of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

I agree completely that the Obama brand is very much about being a personal example... father, husband, physically fit, and an enthusiastic
participant in the holocaust; Barack prefers to molest and ingest the cadavers of exotic non-humans -- an american nightmare!

Obama veered further toward Martha Stewart Living territory in an interview with a Pakistani newspaper on June 21. He told the interviewer about his college travels in Pakistan and talked about the exotic dishes he learned to cook there.

Keema is chili made with the ground up cadaver of an innocent lamb. But our commander-in-corpses is nothing if not versatile. “In the hallway outside afterwards, POTUS told senior staff that he could do beef or chicken curry, depending on whichever Gibbs wanted.” He could "do" a chicken. Well I guess now that Barack has completed his culinary education in Pakistan, it's okay to drop bombs there. So what -- innocent civilians being displaced and murdered? We're americans! They should be happy we even recognize their silly little country. And we have the audacity to label the middle eastern freedom fighters "terrorists"!

I go out of my way to insinuate myself into situations where I can expose kids to vegan ideas... issues of compassion and respect for other animals and, thus, life. We can't expect parents, schools, religions or the media to instill actual values in our youth. I always hope that I can plant the seed that will prevent a child from becoming a robotic indoctrinated corpse-munching parasite; a seed that will nurture in them a genuine appreciation for all life. We can never be concerned about children being too young to be exposed to the truth. And most parents are, indeed, part of the problem.

I am so fortunate to have become friends with two inspirational and determined young adults. If we could reach every child now, perhaps in 5 - 10 years they will become the new militant youth... like Holly and Jon. These guys are intelligent and unflinching. They are radical and militant and dedicated. They encourage me to keep trying to influence children because I see what is possible. They have my deepest respect. They will change the world.

Holly Elvin (17 years old): Holly had a "realisation from such a young age [8 years old] that animals are just as important as people and have the same rights." Holly started noticing the destruction of species in the ocean "and everything went from there." She counts Paul Watson as one of her heros. Don't we all? "My ethics came into being during my young childhood and have only grown stronger."

"When I went vege my family had a hissy fit." Yes, parents don't appreciate their children embracing actual values. "Errr... Me and my family are what would be called 'estranged'." EXCELLENT! Holly realized that her parents didn't own her! She has a mind of her own and integrity. She went vegan while reading "Slaughter of the Innocents" by Hans Reusch (the father of the antivivisection movement). Holly educates herself about issues of cruelty and then incorporates the information into her life.

"I would like to motivate young people to get involved in the animal rights movement, to make the public realise that animal rights activists are not terrorists, and to see all animal rights issues discussed in primary schools, secondary schools colleges and universities." Holly also addresses the issue of animal rights censorship and wisely observes that this information needs to be "available in public libraries, school libraries, easily available from bookshops, etc.... I just want people to get informed and motivated really."

Me too, Holly. And if anyone can motivate kids, it's you.

Jon White (19 years old): Jon became aware of animal rights on the internet. He spoke to someone who introduced him to the ALF philosophy, watched the videos like "Meet Your Meat", and educated himself about the issues. "I went vegan and felt so strongly about this that I also became a full time Animal Rights Campaigner. Only when I feel that I am doing everything I can to help stop animal exploitation do I feel satisfied with myself. Slavery has not ended and holocausts still happen - of much larger numbers, every single day. This needs to be abolished."

Jon was one of the fortunate people to have semi-supportive parents. "My parents reaction was I guess open. They didn't seem to mind too much, they just wanted to know what to buy for me." However, his parents were not pleased about his pursuit of full-time activism, to which Jon responded "no compromise." "I chose to move out of my original home, and spent about 5 months living here, there and everywhere, until finally me and a few mates started up the vegan houseshare which I now live in." Jon, you are AWESOME!

Jon is committed to the full-time pursuit of animal rights and will be satisfied with nothing less than total liberation. "I hate seeing animal exploitation, but at the same time it shows to me that I must continue to campaign for the animals. I love seeing animal liberation, this is pure inspiration, excitement and encouragement to get out there and get active."

It is up to every single vegan to introduce children to compassion and animal rights. And it should be the objective to motivate every child and encourage them to become strong, dedicated, independent, compassionate young adults like Holly and Jon.
